George first discovered mixed music at the age of 17 when he came across Sasha's Global Underground, San Francisco. It was the first mixed compilation that he had ever heard, and it had him hooked. Up to that point he had just heard groups like The Chrystal Method, The Prodigy, Moby, Fatboy Slim, and Chemical Brothers when it came to electronic music. Above all, it was the depth in the compilations track selection and transitions that was the major influence on why he fell in love with the music so much. This pushed him to learn how to construct sets of his own. The way an entire album could be focused around interchanging soundscapes, melodies, and driving bass lines, without missing a beat, was fascinating. Over the years his taste has fluctuated, but his sets today consist of Deep House/Tech House Groove blends, and some Progressive that stay with the times yet still hold true to the vibes that first gave him interest. Since the middle of last 2008 as a producer, George has remixed for some of the worlds leading Deep House record labels such as: Aquamarine, Open Bar, Glideslope and Guess Records. 2009 saw the beginning of Cromarti Records based out of Austin TX in which George oversees all marketing designs and will be featured regularly as an artist on the label. With some of his new originals being signed, and more remixes in the works, you can be sure to see a lot more from Horn this turn of the decade.
