Sheri Marie Aragon, 29, of Albuquerque NM has always, had a knack for identifying the finer things, thus it is no surprise that she has become a collector of some of the best electronic dance music tracks on the planet. Longtime baseline junkie, Sheri officially began her career behind the decks in 2007 in the clubs in Austin Texas. Already accustomed to digging for the best jams in the record store for unreal lengths of time, she took her love for cerebral sounds to the next level as an humble student of the Infamous DJ Mike C of Dallas Tx; a Texas House Music Legend. Miss Sheri Mac has since developed a sophisticated and organic sound to her dj sets, and it is clear that in every mix she is sharing her interpretation of the direction in which dance music is evolving. Miss Mac has held extended weekly residencies at C.P. and The Firehouse in downtown Austin, Texas and has provided guest appearance sets regularly at many other clubs, raves, internet radio shows and house parties in Austin, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio.Texas. In February 2009 Sheri relocated to Albuquerque NM, and has been providing a cerebral influence to the house scene in Albuquerque. She currently plays Texas about once a month, usually Austin and Dallas, and intends to return permanently to The Great State by February of 2010. Sheri has shared the booth with such talent as Terry Mullen, DJ Onionz, J.A.M.O.N., The Infamous Mike See, Eddie Spettro, Candice Elliott, Uriah West and Adam Warped to name a few, and recently she has been trying her ear in the lab, working on production of that deep and minimal sound. If you ask Sheri Mac what her favorite thing about DJing is, she will probably joke that she gets to make a lot of noise without saying a word, but in reality Sheri feels blessed and truly grateful that she gets to spread her love to everyone who will listen through the universal language of music.
