My bio
Mark Denim, originally from the Rio Grande Valley made his way to Austin TX in 1997 and has made this city his permanent home. His love for music has grown over the last 10 yrs and has heard many styles and genres Austin has to offer. With that he finds himself having the strongest love for house music and has made DJing into a career. For the last 5 years he has spent countless hours and days in the studio trying to perfect the art of mixing and producing house music. Mark has learned that house music has many sub genres and finds that deep,funky,soulful,and jackin house is what inspires him the most. Currently he has been trying to give the house music community a different feel and sound that has been missing. So listen up all you house heads Mark Denim is ready to take you to the next level.
Mark Denim was first inspired with house music back when Austin had their infamous airport raves filled with big drop bassing beats and mesmerizing effects. Tiesto was really what gave him the drive to make him believe that he could be a DJ. He has acquired plenty of advice from countless experienced DJs that make his love for what he does today even stronger. One of his mentors, DJ Jason Lema from Las Vegas, has shown him many tricks and has given him the advice he needs to be the best. Today he is currently working harder than ever to give Austin a better feel and love for house music. Mark Denim IS house music. He currently holds a residency at Lanai Austin Rooftop Lounge and host yo(u)nite every 1st Wednesday. Also he is the CEO of HOUSE ADDICT FRIDAYS at Rocco’s Austin every 2nd and 4th Friday.
